Horizontal CNC Machining Centers

Ingersoll Production Systems offers two series of horizontal CNC machining centers that can be set up for 4- or 5-axis machining. HDR Series

The HDR 50 horizontal machining center is designed with two shuttle pallets. This CNC machine is designed for applications in the military, aerospace, automobile, die, mould and machine building industries. It is perfect for the machining of box type components, housings, disc type and complicated parts.

The HDR 50 horizontal CNC machining center can complete milling, boring, drilling, reaming and tapping operations on four faces in a single set up and can be set up for 5-axis machining.

The HDR 50 horizontal machine center features the FANUC 18i CNC control system and is capable of 26.77 inches of X-, Y- and Z-axis travel.

MDH Series

The MDH Series is the ideal horizontal CNC machining center for producing box-type and irregular work pieces for automobile, shipbuilding, engine and general engineering industries. This CNC machine is a high-performance, high-reliability and high-precision product characterized by a compact configuration and rapid response rates. The spindle design makes it particularly suitable for heavy power cutting while the excellent ball screw and spindle cooling system provide superb capability for flexible manufacturing.

The high-performance, programmable two-speed integrated electric spindle motor means that the MDH horizontal CNC machine center is not only capable of high-speed, high-power cutting, but also provides excellent low-speed high-torque cutting.

The MDH Series features six horizontal CNC machines (MDH 40P, MDH 50, MDH 65, MDH 80, MDH 100S and MDH 125) ranging 24.8 to 66.93 inches in X-axis travel, 24.4 to 55.11 inches in Y-axis travel and 27.95 to 48.82 Z-axis travel. All MDH Series CNC machines can be set up for 5-axis machining and come with FANUC 18i CNC controls.
